My life has changed a lot during these past few months because I graduated from high school this year and right now I'm studying becoming a nurse in Salo. It has been really exciting so far but also very challenging because everything is so new. I have learned to vaccinate, catheterize, regeneration and multiple other useful things. My class has been really awesome and it has been nice to meet new people and jump out of my comfort zone where everything was familiar and safe. I have also managed to overcome my fear for needles because we trained injecting our arms and leg. My first training with elderly people starts in a month from now and I'm so enthusiastic. I'm open-minded for everything that is coming: my first training, taking my first blood test, cannulate etc. My advice for everyone's lives is to remember to do your best and learn from the mistakes you might make.

The best self-made pizza

In this post I want to share a recipe that got me to stop eating convenience pizza and made me to love making a self-made pizza. Though it takes more time to cook things at home it is much better to cook foods from the start because then you know that there won't be hidden any extra sugar or saturated fat like in the convenience foods. This recipe is for 4 people. You can put multiple ingredients to your pizza but in this recipe I will show to you how I love to eat my pizza.

Ingredients for the dough:
  • 3dl of water
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 9-10dl of wheat flour
  • 1 package of yeast
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 0,5dl of olive oil
Ingredients for the pizza toppings:
  • 1 pineapple can
  • 1 mushroom can
  • 1 tomato
  • Mozzarella
  • Minced meat
  • Parma ham

Heat up the water so it is warn; not too hot neither too cold. When the water is done, mix the sugar to it. Then mix the yeast to flour and add it to the water. Bake the dough with your hands for 5 minutes. Then add salt and olive oil to your dough. Bake the dough for another 2-3 minutes so it becomes elastic. Let the dough rest for 20-30 minutes in a dish that is covered with plastic wrap. Then roll out the dough to four pizzas and put on the toppings you like and put it to oven till the cheese melts. Put on some basil and enjoy!

Agia Marina

About two months ago I was at Agia Marina, Greece with my family, godmother and grandmother. It was so lovely! I had been at the same place for about 10 years ago when I was 8 years old. We stayed at this beautiful Stefania villa which included our own private pool for us and the most beautiful view to Mediterranean sea. This villa had three floors which included 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. During our trip we visited to a stunning Elafonissi and Chania. I only ate Greek salad and pizza at restaurants because I am a but picky when it comes to food. I usually don't drink much of alcohol so I felt like I an alcoholic because I drank something with alcohol everyday. The owner of the villa was so kind because he brought self-made marble cake for us when we arrived. Luckily we booked a trip to this same place for the next year. I can't wait!

Have you travelled somewhere during this summer? If you have, comment down below where have you travelled because I would love to hear!
