The best self-made pizza

In this post I want to share a recipe that got me to stop eating convenience pizza and made me to love making a self-made pizza. Though it takes more time to cook things at home it is much better to cook foods from the start because then you know that there won't be hidden any extra sugar or saturated fat like in the convenience foods. This recipe is for 4 people. You can put multiple ingredients to your pizza but in this recipe I will show to you how I love to eat my pizza.

Ingredients for the dough:
  • 3dl of water
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 9-10dl of wheat flour
  • 1 package of yeast
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 0,5dl of olive oil
Ingredients for the pizza toppings:
  • 1 pineapple can
  • 1 mushroom can
  • 1 tomato
  • Mozzarella
  • Minced meat
  • Parma ham

Heat up the water so it is warn; not too hot neither too cold. When the water is done, mix the sugar to it. Then mix the yeast to flour and add it to the water. Bake the dough with your hands for 5 minutes. Then add salt and olive oil to your dough. Bake the dough for another 2-3 minutes so it becomes elastic. Let the dough rest for 20-30 minutes in a dish that is covered with plastic wrap. Then roll out the dough to four pizzas and put on the toppings you like and put it to oven till the cheese melts. Put on some basil and enjoy!
